New York City at Christmas is magical. As a kid, I had seen so many movies showing impressive window displays, FAO Schwarz, Rockefeller Plaza and, of course, a snow covered Central Park. We visited once back in 2016, but only for a few hours. This year, we went for 3 days, 2 nights. We found the perfect balance of Christmas, New York City staples and toddler friendly activities. The entire weekend felt serendipitous.Read More
"Something we have had to deal with time and again is transporting breast milk either in a checked bag or carry on. Both of our kids were/are breastfed. There were times that we knew we would need a stash of milk upon arrival (for a babysitter), but there wouldn't be time to store up enough before we needed it. I have put together several resources and tips for breastfeeding mothers who need or want to travel without worrying about their baby's breastmilk."Read More
We recently embarked on the ultimate adventure with toddlers; Walt Disney World. I have been skeptical of Disney since we’ve had kids. I couldn’t imagine the park, the crowds, or the lines with 2 toddlers in tow. However, we decided to take on the challenge for our son’s second birthday! I knew I wanted to try to save money where ever we could without losing anything in the experience. I called around, did some research myself and I decided to stay off property and forgo the meal plan. I have put together exactly what we spent and where we spent it.Read More
We've traveled with a toddler. Actually, we travel with TWO toddlers now. We consider ourselves master toddler entertainers. HA! But seriously, we have conquered toddler boredom time and time again. OH, and while we do love a good movie, we don’t always resort to screen time to entertain our two. We’ve compiled a list of the most effective toys, books, and games that have captivated our toddlers while were trekking around the world with them. If you’re looking for toddler entertainment inspo, you’ve come to the right place!Read More
"We've traveled with a baby. We've traveled with a toddler. We've traveled with a baby AND toddler. We've also traveled with a lot of crappy products and a lot of REALLY HELPFUL products.

Alabama has at least 25 waterfalls worth hiking out to and probably many more beyond that. We recently spent our 4 days and 3 nights Labor Day weekend camping in Northern Alabama on the hunt for some gorgeous waterfalls. We brought along our two kids; ages 3 and 1. We tent camped in Desoto State Park and in Noccalula Falls Park. Tent camping with toddlers is not for the faint of heart, but we were surprised with how well our two did. Our days were spent hiking and hunting waterfalls and our evenings were spent roasting marshmallows; a perfect trip in my opinion. We are going to share which waterfalls we visited and some tips for making the most of your Alabama adventure!Read More
Arkansas wasn't on my radar for a must visit place in the United States. As a matter of fact, we only went there because a family reunion in Texas was scheduled and I was going to have to drive from Florida to Waco, Texas with my two toddlers by myself. My choice was I-10 for 600 miles or take a scenic route over several days, so I chose to see some new places. Arkansas was so family friendly I am trying to get Jimmy to go back with us! Perfect for kids, toddlers, babies & adults!!Read More
Asheville was everything we hoped for. The setting in the Blue Ridge Mountains is fantastic, the hiking and outdoor actives are endless, the food is to die for, and the breweries leave nothing to be desired. There is truly something for every age group in this beautiful city. Whether you're heading there for a long weekend or a mid-roadtrip stopover, you won't be disappointed.Read More
We recently had an issue with a flight being canceled. This resulted in me having to rent a car and drive from Houston, Texas to Pensacola, Florida with my 1 and 2-year-old by myself. OH and all we had with us was our diaper bag plus our Pockit Travel Stroller.Read More
We recently spent a week in San Antonio while visiting my husband on one of his work trips. This multicultural city was more than I had imagined it was going to be. I was born and raised in South East Texas for 11.5 years before moving to Virginia. I am familiar with Texas, but I was happily surprised with this family friendly city and all of it’s delicious food.Read More

As soon as we entered the Aquarium, I knew our 2-year old was going to love it. The entrance is decorated with 3 life size sharks; including a Whale Shark! After a quick stop in the lobby for a preemptive potty break, we make our way around to walk through the Great Maya Reef. I LOVE WALK-THROUGH AQUARIUMS. This surrounding view of the sharks, sting rays and fish is impressive. We walked through as three scuba divers were cleaning, feeding the fish and one was carving a pumpkin!! Yes, he was IN THE TANK carving his Halloween pumpkin! It was humorous and impressive as he had to fend off several curious sting rays!Read More
"We decided, this particular morning, to go to Harpers Ferry over going to Gettysburg. It was a last minute decision and I wasn't convinced it would even be worth the visit. My step-dad described it to me as "a historical park with a city on a hill" -- and now we all know he is the WORST ever at describing awesome places. Our time at Harpers Ferry was better than I could have ever hoped. So much history, unbeatable nature & the weather could not have been more pleasant."
"There are a million options out there for Travel Cribs (AKA baby cots, pack n plays, etc). I am not even about to go into comparing them ALL to each other, but I wanted to share this option since so many of my parent-friends are struggling with their tall toddlers and where they sleep on trips!"

"Poland was more than I ever imagined. The people are extremely friendly, the food is delicious, everything is cheap, and the sites are full of complex history. When you visit Poland, stay longer than we did. There is so much more to see and we will definitely be going back for a more expansive tour."Read More
