We are Florida residents. We live at one of the most beautiful beaches in America; Pensacola Beach. Going to the beach is as common as going to the park during warmer weather. After many trials, we've put together our favorite items for Beach trips with Toddlers (and babies).Read More
Packing light has become my focus lately. With 2 toddlers, it is very easy for us to over pack our bags. We have traveled with so many bags that between the two of us, we couldn't carry all the stuff and the kids. That is not how I want to travel. We want to be efficient, but also have all of our necessities when we arrive.Read More
"Now, I don't know what voodoo is attached to this dang DockATot, but it worked a true miracle that only sleep deprived parents can fully appreciate. It took our crappy sleeper and flipped her to sleeping champ. A couple weeks after using it, she was sleeping through the night without waking at all. We became functioning humans again."
"My husband and I are missionaries in the Baltic States and frequently fly throughout Europe for meetings and conferences and to the United States for support raising and to visit family. With that said, our kids see their bags packed and do not make a fuss about it. They don’t see the need anymore. I have a daughter that is 8 and a son that is 4."
"There are a million options out there for Travel Cribs (AKA baby cots, pack n plays, etc). I am not even about to go into comparing them ALL to each other, but I wanted to share this option since so many of my parent-friends are struggling with their tall toddlers and where they sleep on trips!"
"With a very transient trip, I tried to plan out our travel days before we even left the United States. What I found is that you can’t always book train tickets in advance for European travel and I also learned that there are many ways to book European train tickets and it all depends on what country/region you are traveling to/from. I spent a lot of time researching the most effective, most comfortable, and cheapest way to get from city to city. We knew we would be carrying all of our bags plus a stroller and our baby, so we needed to be ready to pack light and move efficiently.
"Overall, the stress of the planning/booking/packing was totally worth it. Our trip was absolutely amazing. Jimmy always tells me that it was truly “the trip of a lifetime” because we were able to see so many things and get to so many places in 15 days. I would (and will) do it again in a heart beat.
"Would I do it again? Pack up my babies just one adult (myself) and two kiddos? In a heartbeat. We're in the business of making memories together, and the tough and difficult and challenging pieces to get to those memory moments are just as important. It was an adventure and we had a great time!"
