East Coast Beaches:

Bathsheba Beach:

swimming in the natural sea pools along bathsheba

Bathsheba, Barbados is located on the less popular East Coast. The East Coast, or Green Coast - and Bathsheba is one of the best beaches Barbados!

We absolutely love going to the East Coast to swim in the natural sea pools, climb through the open rock caves, search for sea shells, and just enjoy the diversity of the rocky coast. This coast is not safe for swimming in the ocean, but pools are crystal clear and calm. The sea pools are absolutely perfect for swimming and safe!

Pro Tip: ONLY go when it’s low tide or you will not be able to walk among the coral rocks or swim in the natural sea pools.

Walkers Beach:

Walkers Beach is located on Barbados’ North East Coast. This rugged coast line is not good for swimming, but can be a surfer’s paradise. It’s located near the “Soup Bowl” which attracts surfers from all around the island. There are no facilities or life guards on this beach. Near this beach you will find the Morgan Lewis Mill, Grenade Hall Forest and Signal Station, Barclays Park, and Cherry Tree Hill.
