Read MoreWe recently embarked on the ultimate adventure with toddlers; Walt Disney World. I have been skeptical of Disney since we’ve had kids. I couldn’t imagine the park, the crowds, or the lines with 2 toddlers in tow. However, we decided to take on the challenge for our son’s second birthday! I knew I wanted to try to save money where ever we could without losing anything in the experience. I called around, did some research myself and I decided to stay off property and forgo the meal plan. I have put together exactly what we spent and where we spent it.
Read MoreAlabama has at least 25 waterfalls worth hiking out to and probably many more beyond that. We recently spent our 4 days and 3 nights Labor Day weekend camping in Northern Alabama on the hunt for some gorgeous waterfalls. We brought along our two kids; ages 3 and 1. We tent camped in Desoto State Park and in Noccalula Falls Park. Tent camping with toddlers is not for the faint of heart, but we were surprised with how well our two did. Our days were spent hiking and hunting waterfalls and our evenings were spent roasting marshmallows; a perfect trip in my opinion. We are going to share which waterfalls we visited and some tips for making the most of your Alabama adventure!

Read MoreAs soon as we entered the Aquarium, I knew our 2-year old was going to love it. The entrance is decorated with 3 life size sharks; including a Whale Shark! After a quick stop in the lobby for a preemptive potty break, we make our way around to walk through the Great Maya Reef. I LOVE WALK-THROUGH AQUARIUMS. This surrounding view of the sharks, sting rays and fish is impressive. We walked through as three scuba divers were cleaning, feeding the fish and one was carving a pumpkin!! Yes, he was IN THE TANK carving his Halloween pumpkin! It was humorous and impressive as he had to fend off several curious sting rays!

Read More"I imagined both kids crying (and probably me) crying the entire drive and me asking myself every 10 minutes why I wanted to do it in the first place. If you think this sounds dramatic, you’ve never driven in the car with a baby/toddler who is able to cry for four or more hours straight, who didn’t sleep AT ALL on an ELEVEN hour drive from Florida to Texas, and who’s cry is the same decibel as a firing rifle. Thankfully though trip went nothing like I imagined and I am so grateful."

Read More"Since becoming a family of three we have found new ways to enjoy ourselves. We no longer spend our nights exploring the local bar scene, but we now have a new travel tradition that we love: we always eat dinner together in the hallway of our hotel while our baby sleeps. We have ordered carry out and room service, but we still sit together where we can talk and enjoy each other’s company. Traveling has always been a way for us to connect and this is a new quirk that we both get a kick out of. It sounds silly, but it’s ours and we love it. We have adapted to this new normal. Life with a baby is different that life without one. Life with two babies will be even more different, but I know when this baby gets here we will settle in like all families do. Our life will go on and be twice as exciting as it is now."
